Easy
Preparation time: 10-20 minutes (depending on how long you want to take)
Cooking time: 20-25 minutes
Ingredients: Pizza Base
350g flour (ideally 00 flour)
1 tablespoon of oil
1 sachet of dried yeast
180ml lukewarm water
Topping ideas:
tomato passata
sliced cherry tomatoes
sweetcorn
sliced (lengthways) courgette
sliced red pepper
pitted olives
sliced mushrooms
cheddar (grated of sliced)
sliced mozerella
Method:
1. Mix the water, oil and yeast together in a bowl
2. Add the flour and knead for 5 minutes
3. Cover and leave to rise for at least 30 minutes
4. Pre-heat oven at 220 degrees C
5. Prepare ingredients in small bowls where your toddler can reach, divide the pizza dough roughly into 5/6 and 1/6 (1/6 for your toddlers pizza)
6. Dust the table surface with flour and roll out the pizza bases to your desired thickness using a rolling pin (my toddler and I prefer a very thin crunchy base)
7. using a spoon; spread tomato passata over the full surface of the base
8. ask your toddler to choose which ingredients he/she/they would like to add onto their pizza and you can do the same
9. Place both pizza's onto a tray lined with parchment paper and cook at 220 degrees C for 10 minutes and then reduce heat to 200 degrees C for the last 10-15 minutes (cooking time depends on how thick the pizza base are)
10. Enjoy!
